Joseph Parker stepped onto the scales nearly 20 pounds above compared to his opponent as both big men displayed self-assured figures - although in opposing manners - for this weekend's main event in London.

New Zealand's Parker is risking his WBO interim championship and opportunity to compete for the undisputed crown up for grabs against the perfect Wardley at the London venue.

Reigning division king Usyk has made clear his aim to retain his world titles facing the successful fighter.

"This is it. This means the ultimate," said a focused but focused Wardley, 30, at the Friday weigh-in.

The British contender - possessing the WBA 'interim' belt - registered at 17st 5lb, matching his previous matches.

Fabio Wardley, dressed in an Ipswich Town jersey, kept a straight face, acknowledged the audience, but looked focused.

Although he is the smaller man, Fabio Wardley has superb KO strength. He staged a thrilling turnaround versus Justis Huni in the summer, behind on the judges' cards then stopping his opponent in the tenth round although being outboxed for most of the bout.

"His opponent, his team and supporters are about to discover I belong to be at the top of this weight class," Fabio Wardley said.

"Every opponent has been the boxer critics say will defeat me. This is that fight. His attributes include exceptional pace, swift, vastly experienced. But I haven't been beaten so far, and no challenge will alter in the ring."
